Tip of The Week:

Want to get rid of an annoying program that runs every time your computer starts?

Here's How:

First off, check the startup folder in the "Start" menu. Go to Start -> Programs (or All Programs on Windows Vista/Windows 7) -> Startup. If you see the offending program here, right-click on it and choose delete.

If the program is not listed in the Windows startup folder, use the Microsoft Configuration Utility to remove it from system startup. Choose "run" from the "Start" menu (if using Windows Vista/Windows 7, hold down the windows key, located between the left "Ctrl" and "Alt" keys, and press "r"). Then type in "msconfig" (without the quotes) and press "Enter". This will launch the Microsoft Configuration Utility. From there, click on the "Startup" tab and look for a listing for the program which you wish to remove.
